- BPBreanna PerryJul 17, 20251.0Do yourself a favor, use a different title company. Seller chose First American Title to close with and in my experience, the communication here was severely lacking. I called a week in advance of our close to get the closing details, left a voicemail, no response, sent a secure message, no response, called again two days later, no response, sent another message, no response, called the gal's assistant the next day and then finally received a call that they didn't have my closing documents, and this was 4 business days from closing. Also they said they would have my closing check a couple days after funding and its been 10 days now, still haven't heard anything. I guess its time for another round of phone tag...

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with the office assistant, Bopa, who handled much of the paperwork side of things. She's VERY disorganized, creates unnecessary confusion, and was not helpful at any point in the process of selling our house. If she had been removed from the equation, the entire experience would have been completely different.
