- SJS JelksSep 9, 20251.0You get the run around and the buck keeps being passed. They take advantage of senior citizens and people of color. They want loss settlement instead of calling auto body companies on their overcharging for items that don't need to be fixed. The repairs that are not needed are not challenged by GEICO. They want to sell you your car for $ 10,000 and the repairs for $ 9,000. Horrible. Loss settlement is $13,000.You can't get a car for that amount. I paid $ 170 per month for years. They can't repair my car for less than they want to give me. I was told I could not get another estimate from another auto body shop. That there was no appeal process, or they would not challenge the auto body repair cost.

Wile trying to get my car battery charge resolved and changed to the day after because new battery suppliers were closed the next day, I was told to again call back. Without any resolution with customer service rep., I asked for her supervisor (Ms. Page), who said she was disconnecting me when I calmly tried to ask a question. She wouldn't allow me to speak, talked over me, then hung up! And I'm paying well over a thousand dollars a year to be treated like crap?! The other insurers are looking pretty good right now, and no wonder their reviews are 1.7. Geico used to be a fairly decent company, but they've really gone downhill.
