  I should have listened to everyone that was employed with Geico and even the ones still employed with Geico that this place is horrible to their employees. I was employeed at geico from February 2025 to Nov 21st 2025. The training was horrible! They keep saying there's a method to their madness or give yourself grace or give yourself 6 months blah blah blah. But let me tell you what it was like. First you go to a classroom and the teach you the Manuel then you go to the phones. They don't tell you how take take calls. Like soon as you get on the calls and you don't know what to say you put your question in the chat and you have to WAIT for the answer in the mean time you don't know what to say to the customer and you just sound like you don't know what you're doing. Sometimes they don't even answer your question and you don't know what to say so you have to make it up. To Geico customers if there's something wrong with your claim it's because someone that didn't know what they were doing was working on it. If you keep hearing different things about what the next steps are it's because the people that just got out of training was telling you what they think is the right answer. It's shouldn't be like that. I get lots of mad customers because of this. They even threaten you with your job while you're in orientation if you did something wrong in a claim. During orientation I had the meanest manager that made me cry made me nervous to come to work everyday and I kept going to her supervisor for help or to get another manager and they never helped me. She also never helped me when I needed help like barely. Me and another girl barely got help that's why our numbers weren't so good but the other associates got a lot more help and that's why their numbers were good. But I told that to her supervisor and they did nothing. Everyone has bad days but if you accidentally say something rude back to a customer you will get fired they don't give you a second chance, only once chance! they don't see that you have been very nice to every call since you been there or that you been improving since you been there they don't care about ANY of that. They fired me right before the holidays because I said something rude to a customer because he was being rude to me I know that was wrong but it wasn't THAT bad I told everyone about this and they're like really they're firing you because of THAT. So what happened someone said I sound like I was under the influence cause I stuttered my words but that wasn't true I wasn't stuttering I was trying to see what to say and how to say it. And he was just being a complete jerk I tried to get him another associate to help him but everywhere was closed I then told him cause his question was if you have multiple claims does it risk renewal I then said if you have multiple claims maybe you shouldn't be driving. Yea that was wrong I even offered to apologize to the guy. Couldn't even get a memo. It was already a month ago that it happened it could of waited till after the holidays to fire someone if they really care about their employees which they don't. They didn't take anything into consideration this was my first customer service job as a claims specialist that every call besides that ONE we're good calls and I been improving since I got there. Geico don't care about their employees.

  I wrote this letter to Geico this morning: PLEASE CANCEL MY AUTO INSURANCE POLICY IMMEDIATELY. I PURCHASED ANOTHER POLICY FROM A MUCH BETTER AGENCY AT HALF THE RATE. YOU HAVE BEEN ROBBING ME. I HAVE BEEN PAYING ALMOST $300 PER MONTH FOR AUTO INSURANCE, A VETERAN, A SAFE DRIVER, HAVE NOT BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT FOR AT LEAST THE LAST 3 YEARS AND I REQUESTED AN EXTENSION OF DUE DATE DUE TO ME BEING FURLOUGHED FROM THE GOVT, AND YOU REFUSED, AFTER I HAVE PAID ON TIME EVERY MONTH AND HAVE BEEN A CLIENT ALMOST 8 YEARS. I WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE A DIFFERENT POLICY FOR $124 A MONTH WITH THE SAME COVERAGE AND DETAILS OF THE POLICY I PURCHASED FROM YOU. YOU ARE GREEDY AND YOU SUCK! BUT THANK YOU FOR NOT ALLOWING ME TO HAVE AN EXTENSION DUE DATE BECAUSE IT FORCED ME TO SEARCH FOR A BETTER POLICY AND SAVE A LOT OF MONEY.

  DO NOT INSURE WITH GEICO. Geico will engage in deliberate financial fraud to knowingly and deliberately overbill you. GEICO reported to the VA DMV that I canceled my auto insurance. I CHANGED my address. My license was suspended for no insuramce coverage. That artificially created suspension justified Geico to raise my rates $80- $100 dollars a month. To get my license reinstated I had to pay an $800 fine and consent to an SR-22 (a form that states I was a bad girl, didn't have insurance, and promised to maintain insurance for two years). That suspension stays on my license for two years, so Geico intended to run this overbillling scam for TWO years. Finally, after 18mos and about 75 calls to GEICO, I "talked" a GEICO representative into writing to the VA DMV that I had valid insurance on April 1, 2024. This guy gave me the letter on October 13, 2025, but another GEICO representative emailed me on October 15, 2025, and said I didn't have any insurance in Virginia and they wouldn’t send the VA DMV a letter of declaration. This was a hard core scam. But for the very nice GEICO representative not going with the scam and sending that letter to the DMV, I'd have no chance of escaping GEICO to another insurance company. EVERY time a GEICO representative answers the phone, they say they are licensed, so every person I talked to knew what they were doing was FRAUD. Needless to say, I'm suing in civil court for my over billing and filing complaints with the VA attorney general and commissioner of insurance. GEICO did this to someone they knew had a legal background. ONLY ONE representative at GEICO wasn't interested in perpetrating the on going FRAUD- ONE!!!! I can only imagine how they are jerking non legal people around.

  Wife and I had a roof leak and it damaged our living room furniture and the contractor wanted us to vacate the home because a blue tarp was placed on the roof covering the chimney and carbon monoxide and mold was coming in the house. GEICO Insurance adjuster Deronda didn't want to pay for loss of use coverage for us going to the hotel and damage to personal property. I will never ever referral this insurance company Traveler's and Geico

  Lack of resolution GEICO Insurance Agency LLC Travelers failed me during major home damage, zero support for catastrophic renter's claim. Paid premium for nothing: GEICO wouldn't help with a floor leak/ roof leak and damage to personal property claim. I have renter's insurance policy with GEICO through Traveler's. I filed a claim September 25,2025 ,a significant roof leak led to a floor leak and a large hole 🕳️ in the living room floor. Despite having $33,700.00 in personal property coverage and $10,110.00 in loss of use coverage. GEICO has provided no assistance. I made 7 attempts to get help, spoke to agent Christian September 25,2025 filed the claim, then adjuster Deronda September 26,2025 at 8:15am 1st time to send pictures of the ceiling in kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom damage where rain enters into the house. The floor where the hole 🕳️ and furniture. 2nd time was at 11:55am adjuster Deronda asked for the rental company name, phone, address property manager T'vinci Properties. Adjuster Deronda called back October 1,2025 and stated she reached out to the rental company and they told her we will have to vacate the house for 5days due to the short time out of the house it's not worth filling a claim due to the deductible is $500.00.I called back to ask for adjuster Deronda supervisor. The agent gave me Katia Ferrell. I left a message to give us a new adjuster. Katia Ferrell called back October 2,2025 1:37pm I informed her that the landlord got September rent and he wants October rent, pet and maintenance fees and we have to pay $160.00-170.00 a night and pet fee for a small dog, buy food and we paid our neighbor $300.00 to move our furniture. What about the living furniture that got wet. Katia Ferrell unresponsive, unwilling to formally file the claim or provide assistance for damages and displacement, we are paying for a policy that is failing to provide protection when we need it most We are currently displaced facing high out of pocket cost for a hotel and furniture repairs because GEICO is not processing our claim for ALE and property damage. If you have Insurance with this company and they didn't protect your situation file with the state department of insurance or the state department of attorney. I learned a good 💯 lesson start reading the reviews, cause their are a lot of people stating don't deal 🤝 with this company 👀.
