  Run Forest Run! The customer service is done through people who can barely read the script and whatever question you ask they start reading from the beginning! I wonder why are they still allowed to do business and cheat people? I was hit by an insured motorist in New York 2 years ago! I just received a letter from GEICO saying that his lawyer failed to respond their calls and I should file a law suit on my own and let GEICO know to close the case! Did I say that my loyalty lasted since 1994?

  I have been a Geico customer since 2007, and apparently my reward for nearly two decades of loyalty is the privilege of waiting over two and a half hours on hold. It is impressive how Geico has managed to redefine customer service, not as providing support or solutions, but as a contest of who can outlast the hold music the longest. Clearly, loyalty from customers is expected, yet loyalty to customers is optional. To make matters worse, every time I call, the quoted price seems to increase, even if the last call was made within 24 hours. At this point, Geico seems less interested in serving its policyholders and more focused on reminding us that patience and paying more each time we reach out are apparently mandatory parts of the policy.

  These guys suck! I paid for a flood insurance policy in full, but needed to change the date so they had to review the policy. Upon review they determined that my washing machine was on the first floor so the premium would be $48 more. I asked if this policy covered damaged caused by the washing machine. In my mind, if you charge me additionally money for the placement of my washer there should be coverage that comes with the additional premium. Geico’s response was that this would fall under my home owners policy. Geico: pay me more money Me: for what Geico: for nothing Me: hmm, that doesn’t make sense

  Avoid GEICO at All Costs – They’ll Waste Your Time and Leave You With Nothing I am beyond disappointed with GEICO. My car was stolen, and it’s been over two months of nothing but excuses, delays, and empty promises. They’ve dragged me through an endless so-called “investigation” over a straightforward theft claim, and despite providing everything they asked for, they’ve refused to pay a single dime. I’ve asked repeatedly: How long does it take to verify a car was stolen? Every time, I get a vague answer, more stalling, or a new "department" gets involved. GEICO keeps saying they’re “handling it differently” — but what that really means is they’re avoiding responsibility and trying to wear you down until you give up. This is absolutely disgraceful behavior for an insurance company that markets itself as customer-focused. Trust me — if your car ever gets stolen or you need real help, GEICO will leave you stranded. 🚫 Stay away from GEICO. They’ll take your money, but when it’s time to actually protect you, they’ll disappear behind red tape and fake investigations.
