I have lived in Joelton 25 yrs. And have to say that this Post Office is probably the worst when it comes to delivery, and customer courtesy. Ms Karen? (dark hair) is very friendly, cordial and great as far as trying to resolve problems..but she is not in charge, my concerns had to be addressed by the Post Master. I have a pob, but most times get my Amazon pkgs at my numbered home address. The vendors on Amazon's site sometimes ship via USPS. Herein is where the problems lie. I ordered hair care products $42.00 that was left out in the heat overnight because I was expecting porch delivery. I found pkg sitting on top of my garbage can in driveway. Amazon (vendors) sometime use USPS to deliver. I looked at security footage and saw a gentleman that lives a street over brought pkg and placed on top of my trash can. I called post office and had to repeat over and over it was a neighbor that put pkg on my trash can..as person speaking with apparently did not believe my security footage was correct and kept asking if I was sure because pkg scanned in front of my house. I have a POB and if wanted at POB would have placed pob as Amazon mail address. PROBLEM: I taped mailbox shut with gorilla grey masking tape to stop postal workers from putting mail in my box. My yard guy trimmed the vines that I grew to hide mailbox (to keep carrier from putting mail there, I then taped) I decided to drive to Post Office to see if my pkg was there. That's when I saw package on top of garbage can. My products sat in the hot sun from 11am/next day..over night. The Post Master stated they were having some problems there and I need to call Amazon and let them know that I don't want pkgs sent through Post Office. (As if I can control a major company) Whether through Post office or Amazon..my MAIL BOX should not have been torn apart. It took carrier about 15 seconds or more to undo gorilla tape. In doing so she jerked lid off, with rusty screws at bottom on each side. What struck me as odd Post Master put blame back to me in what I needed to do because they are having some problems ..tell Amazon not to ship via USPS. Due to prior mail receipt issues I placed a freeze on my credit report because sometimes I don't get my bank statements, money market investment mail, car tag, utility bill renewal and so on with POB as address. Although bank states mailed to POB. I requested my mailbox be repaired by the Post Office as this is the 2nd incidence. Yrs back a "SUB" tore apart the vines that I purposely grew to cover mailbox, so that I would get mail at POB. Humans make mistakes. I just think their customer communication and resolution solving skillsets are poor. Just lacking common courtesy not knowing or caring enough to say, I am sorry that happened. I had to show security footage to get Post Master to believe me. Amazon refunded back to my card because products were discolored due to sun damage. Being positive I believe decent people... they just don't know how to communicate 😕 🙄 😪 to customer and the words "I am sorry" is missing from their vocabulary. This Post Office has continued problems in this area with taking pride in their work. I have received mail and a few pkgs. That belong to someone else. I just shoot the mail back through my pob slot hoping when they see on the inside floor to put in right pobox. In my just picking up mail, I have heard customers mumbling about how rude worker is. It doesn't affect you or ring true..until it happens..to be you on the receiving end. Training, communication skills and pride in having a postal career..missing.

System sucks and they don’t know what they are doing. Typical union/government bs.
