- KGKathleen GraverNov 7, 20191.0Our office received a letter of a rate increase after 2 years. Our contract is not up until next year. I found a vendor that I have worked with for 10 years in the past that offered me a lower rate, same number of weeks and a one year contract. ProShred requires a 2 or 3 year contract upon renewal.. Upon contacting ProShred I was asked to supply them with the email or letter showing the other vendor's rate. I did that and then received an email from Ginny offended that I would send her letter with the rate increase to another vendor. Hmm. Well, did your ProShred not ask the same of me? I have all the emails back and forth as proof.The last straw was that the string of emails from me to the new vendor were attached to the email I sent to ProShred. Ginny went ahead and emailed my new vendor with a very short and curt email. How unprofessional to say the least. This is a very competitive world we live in and of course we are all shopping for the best prices not to mention the best contracts whether a year, etc. We should have the right to cancel without hassles and you really crossed the line by contacting my new vendor, who also happens to be a friend of mine. You not only lost our business but I hope others will read this and take what I have to say to heart.
