  Working with Alyssa and Honesdale National Bank was a pleasure from start to finish. Alyssa is incredibly responsive, responding to multiple e-mails the same day. She was great at explaining our options and navigating us through the process, and then coordinating with all the people involved in closing (lawyers, closers, title company, realtors). Alyssa really went above and beyond anything I would have expected from a mortgage professional. Closing was quick and easy -- overall a great experience with Honesdale National Bank.

  We recently purchased our new family home in Honesdale PA area and Honesdale Nationall Bank stepped up big time to help us with the mortgage process. Timing was very important, Alyssa H and her team worked with us and helped us with the documentation readiness, advice, and essentially everything we needed to get the mortgage approval completed before the closing, even with time to spare.I cannot say enough about Alyssa's support: patience, knowledge, professionalism, empathy, Alyssa was there for us even at the closing to ensure all numbers were clear and understood by all paries. Extermely grateful for the opportunity to meet Alyssa, facilitated by our real estate agent Jessica B, and for Alyssa's H dedication to customers and her amazing "can do" philosophy. Equally apprecaited all Honesdale National Bank team members who were part of the process.

  WOOD DUCK ELECTRIC IM A SMALL BUSINESS IN HONESDALE PA I have recently transitioned from Dime Bank to HNB Bank. I found HNB Bank to be an outstanding choice, providing a seamless transition to another financial institution. The differences between Dime Bank and HNB Bank are notable. At Dime Bank, the same tellers were present every day, but at HNB Bank, They work with small business not against them they will accept a bank check. They also cater to small businesses. My experience with HNB Bank was so positive that I almost shed tears due to the negative treatment I received from Dime Bank. Hnb bank 5 stars all day long Great service Great bank Don't ever go to Dime bank if you own a small business

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about HNB and how easy they made our home buying experience, specifically Alyssa H. Our dream home came on the market, and I called HNB and left a message the same day in an attempt to get pre-approved for the mortgage. Alyssa called me back within the hour ON HER DAY OFF and said she was getting in her car to head to the office so we didn't miss out on this. Communication, compassion, and kindness have all been top tier. Thank you so very much to the HNB team who helped us get into our beautiful home! You have gone so above and beyond to get us here and made such an impact on our family!

  I will say every time I visit the Hamlin Branch I have a positive experience. Great staff always so pleasant. Also when I call on the phone a great experience. My only complaint is the online experience through the banks website. It's just not all that user friendly, feels very antiquated. The interface and tabs should be streamlined and modernized. So just one recommendation for improvement to an otherwise stellar bank.
