When I opened my account, I made sure to set up overdraft protection so that funds would automatically transfer between my accounts to avoid any fees. Despite this, I was still charged overdraft fees. When I brought this to the attention of the branch manager, Jamie, she admitted it was a setup error made by the previous manager. However, she was hostile, dismissive, and completely lacked empathy. Instead of taking accountability, she blamed me for not “watching” my account—even though I did my due diligence during account setup and trusted the bank to follow through. When I asked to speak with someone above her due to how poorly the situation was handled, she gave me the name of Bob Ferrero but refused to provide his contact info. She claimed he would call me, but I never heard from him. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend banking here. If they make a mistake, you’ll be the one paying for it.
