I can not believe the treatment of a customer I witnessed yesterday at the Fairless hills giant! I heard the pharmacist tell the customer they were filling her prescription now to give them a couple minutes. So the lady comes back in a few minutes and they are closed5 minutes early and I could hear the pharmacist and cashier laughing behind the gate about it I am not spending another one of my dimes there and it is the only place I have bought my groceries in over 15 years I am done!! And disappointed!!!

I went to buy an item that was marked $1.99 sale good until.10/30. When I went to register it rang up $2.50. When I asked why I was told sign was a mistake???? He showed me the sign for NEXT week that had the higher price. MANAGER said sorry you have to pay higher price. But PA State law says a business must give items to customer at price marked. He refused so I guess it is off to Weis now. Smh Just the principal that big business is always trying to ripoff customers...

Today is October 21st, 2025. I I had the worst embarrassing experience with Giants Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia PA 19147.
I had a full cart of groceries, there was a line behind me, at the register. The grocery was scanned and it was time to pay up.
But for some odd reason, my debit card was rejecting . I tried every card in my wallet. A total of 5 cards, and none were successful. The cashier was super nice in the beginning, then turned 360 in seconds.
I kept apologizing to the cashier and the people on line. Not understanding how ALL my cards were unsuccessful. I called my bank to see what the issue was. My Bank even, confirm the funds, that there shouldn’t be an issue. I even confirmed, the text authorization thru fraud alert.!
Again unsuccessful.
The cashier was getting frustrated and started to be loud and rude. I told her, Wow you turned 360 in a snap of a finger. She got even louder saying how rude I am. I ask her …Do you think I want this to happen? She was so loud telling me this card only have 2 dollars and some change. And the next transaction only had $90.
I couldn’t understand why, my card only charged $90.
I told the cashier.. It is embarrassing as is for me and to publicly the amount was unnecessary.
Her shift was done, she stood to the side of the register, yelling out….”NOW THIS IS LOUD” like she was ready for a fight. Telling me I was the Rude one. How I was taking my frustration on her … Which was totally vise versa.
I understand her frustration as all 5 cards rejected. But being obnoxious and unreasonable was very unprofessional.
All of this happened as my 5 years old daughter was sitting in the cart.
I retry locking my card then re-unlocking it, AND FINALLY the transaction approved.
I walked out of Giants, Mad and Confused. I called the first credit card company Demanding an Answer of WHY the transaction didn’t go thru.
The representative was quiet and replied “but… there are “No History” of the Credit Card being used nor does the system, showed a rejection. Then the representative made a Very good point and said “If 5 cards rejected, maybe it’s the machine”
I politely ask if she can retry a different POS sale, on the same machine.
Explaining to her , my debit card and Credit Cards are, from different banks. There was no reason for all 5 cards to be rejected . If the credit card machine was the issue.But she assured me the register and CC machine are pre-tested every morning.
I Drove home confused! !
Sat on the couch, turned on tv and Finally Got my Answer (Picture attached below )
