They also had the same issue with issuing our closing check as our bank would not cash it either. Sheree Van Natta will not take responsibility for all the errors and keep blaming her assistances. Apparently she not responsible for her staff. We will never use them again. Seller beware, this is not a company I would recommend, especially if you do a lot of transactions.
- DNDaniel NortonNov 6, 20172.0Purchased a home w/o a realtor in 2014 and used First American as the title company. Closing went thru on time but overall customer experience was poor. I requested specific information regarding the title insurance early by phone and email with my representative. The First American title rep did not even bother to call or email me back. I could not get thru to the rep and never received confirmation if the closing process was on track until a few days before closing when I was told that documents were not complete. Clearly felt that I was not considered a customer by First American.
