  Worst company in Canada, don’t waste your time, I don’t understand why there is no zero star option

  We applied for a small business loan and everything was handled well at frist. From when we submitted application online, until we got assigned to an account manager, when everything started going off the rails. We needed a loan this coming March for acquiring and existing business. We started the process in November as we needed training for the said business by february, and we wouldnt be able to start the training without loan approval. Its already end of February and the loan application seems to be unmoving and going nowhere. The account manager that got assigned to us takes about 2-3 weeks to respond (the time they initially said to process the ENTIRE application) to only come back with unmentioned forms needed for the application. She keeps on ignoring our inquiries regarding forms that needed to be filled up and then comes back around to send THE SAME FORM that we already filled up at the beginning of the application. I am unsure if the account manager actually knows what she is doing or if she even goes through the documents we send her or through what we email her as she seems to ignore all those whenever she does get in contact. She worries the we maybe "inexperienced" to handle the business we are trying to acquire, but keeps stalling the application to get approval to START THE TRAINING FOR THE BUSINESS. At some points her concerns seems insignificant as she also asked where we plan to live while the training is on going and the address of the place we are to stay. Now, we are behind the initial timeline for the hopeful approval of the loan and for the business training, and she is still sending us forms that was already sent back in November, and asking for documents that we cannot provide as it includes personal financial information of the seller. We tried to reach out to the general help desk but they very unhelpful on regards to who we can talk regarding the matter and mentioned that it was because of the holidays hence the delays. As I have mentioned, we started the application beginning of November. Way before the holidays. The account manager also told us that her phone was broken thats why she coupdbt reach out to us. Which doesnt really make sense as we waited around 1-2months for any response from her. We just want to know if we are approved for our loan so we can start the training for the business. We looked forward to BDC helping us with a stress-free process and the said 3-4wks processing. Which turned in to almost 4 months of nothing and repetitiveness. Hoping to get in touch with anyone who can actually help us through this.

  We have applied for financing with Bdc after our first year of operation and the answer came that we need 2 years of business! After our second year of operation we applied again and they collect all our documents and the agent keept on saying that all is looking good and our development projects whcih was provided to bdc is looking fine! After waiting for almost 3 weeks the answer came that apply next year! I'm not sure how small businesses would survive and grow in canada if they don't have financing! It looks like you are waiting for us to go out of business and say ooh we told you so that you are not making any money and you would go out of business! I really advise you to support small businesses in Canada because that's what you are for and if you are waiting the time when we make money to financing us that time believe me we don't need you!!
