  If you are looking at Proshred for Charlotte location, go elsewhere. Since they changed ownership to Vital Records in March 2025, their customer service has gone to crap. Their drivers are very sweet and polite and apologetic for the company's poor customer service through the switch. Don't go to them. I had to give a 1 star as you had to use a start to rate it but I'd rate it a 0 star if that was an option.

  Used the drop off. Was brought a bin immediately, filled it and employee took it inside. Brought my receipt and off I went. Green minutes max and very reasonably priced.

  We were told to come back the next day at 10:00am and someone would be there to help us, we arrived at 10:00am no one there, another customer arrived 30min later he said his appointment was for 10:30 . We both waited till 11:00am . Still No one showed up. So we had to drive 30min to one of their competitors, who was more than happy to help us both. Do go to this place!!!!!

  Pickup individuals have been very professional and courteous but we have had issues with scheduling. It was set up to be every 4 weeks but without any notice to us a date will be skipped and then made up the next month when they fit on their schedule. We chose every 4 weeks so that we had time to fill the bins but when they just arbitrarily change dates and come before the 4 week period is up, we don't get to completely fill bins OR delay and not come for 6 weeks we are unable to utilize effectively
