We sold our house under land contract, the buyers refinanced and chose them to do the title work. Buyers had agreed to pay quit deed title fee. But when they came in for closing and asked how much they needed to pay they were told they didn’t have to pay anything and that everything was settled. So FATA held our check for over a week without reaching out to let us know that they failed to collect the fee. We called half a dozen times, they never called back. When we finally got them on the phone, that’s when we FINALLY figured out that the $30 fee hadn’t been paid yet and that was the reason we hadn’t received our payment. When I pointed this out to them, and they realized that the closer (who was a different person than we had explained the terms we had with buyer to) wasn’t aware of the fact that the buyers were supposed to pay that fee. They still didn’t apologize for what I’m sure was an honest mistake of forgetting to relay that information. I was unhappy to have to go to the buyers personally to collect the $30 fee and then pay to get my check. But their poor communication -1 Star, not calling back -1, lack of accepting their mistake -1 and then won’t even admit they were wrong and say sorry -1. Easy way to a legit 1 Star experience. We are currently re-financing our house and planned to use them, but have changed our mind. I hope that if you are reading this, that you know that you have a choice on who your title agency is. I would recommend against this one.

They do an excellent job and are always on the ball. They make closings go smooth and are friendly to all those that come into the office. Could not recommend a better title company to work with.
