- JSJeff ScheidJul 6, 20251.0GEICO has gone down hill. I have them for auto insurance. Someone hit me in Florida and GEICO handled it very well. That was years ago. I had a blowout on a travel trailer at 60 MPH. I called for roadside assistance to have the tire changed out. Waited waited waited no one arrived. Stupid app was on “we’re looking for a provider “ Finally I called back. What a disorganized mess of a department. I was losing light so I attempted the switch. The lugs were on so tight I could get them off. Call disorganized GEICO again. Service Rep was arguing saying I didn’t have roadside on trailer. Look at my photo. I do. I got sick and tired of the Rep and hung up. I was on the side of a freeway with cars and trucks whizzing by me doing 80-90 changing a tire. Nice. Thanks for nothing GEICO Keep this in mind when you are choosing your insurance company

- RNRay NgJun 16, 20251.0They want you to do everything via their phone app or their website. The phone app doesn't do everything the website does. The website doesn't do everything the phone app does. The website is an epic disaster when it comes to usability and reliability. In terms of reliability, more often than not the website just doesn't load content and requires constant reloads of the page to get any content. And it works extremely slowly when it decides that it wants to work. I keep getting error 503 from the website which points the error directly at the web server itself. In terms of usability, it is extremely hard to find claims information on it... when it works at all. The website itself contains various embedded objects that sends me to Google's advertising servers, presumably to sell my information to Google. What a scam. This was my first year with Geico and it will be my last. The gecko can go pound sand.
- RRRich RamdeoJun 10, 20251.0They attempted to illegally add a claim and another driver to my policy because those people resided in the same building as me and didn't have their own insurance coverage. They also said I have to pay for it because I'm the only one with insurance, despite me not being involved in the claim nor responsible for the other driver. With that logic, I can cancel my policy and state my mailing address is the White House. Then, the President would have to pay for my coverage because I listed that address. This is a mixture of incompetence and greed.
