Tried to talk to someone about this and they kept brushing me off any saying that it’s been submitted to “higher ups” without ever getting a clear answer. I’ve since switched to AAA- much cheaper and more perks. Do yourself a favor and skip the hassle, don’t get geico!
- ZHZuhair HallakJun 15, 20225.0Beginning: GEICO is NOT COVERING UP MY FRONT WINDSHIELD OEM BECAUSE THERE IS AFTERMARKET WINDSHIELD AVAILABLE AND MAKING ME COVER IT UP. It DOESN'T SHOW ON YOUR CONTRACT THAT I NEED TO COVER UP MORE THAN MY deductibility. At END: Geoic covered up for my OEM front windshield and I only paid for my deductibility. Honestly, I could have left after filing the claim. I was going back to ensurance Allstate because I care about being covered OEM parts for my vehicle. If I’m going to pay 1700 dollars in 6 months. I should feel like it’s worth staying with you guys (Geoic). The aftermarket Windshield might have passed the US DOT but can be cheaper by having less thickness than the OEM front Windshield. The aftermarket front Windshield might not fit probably or the mole might dry up. Yes, the front windshield replacement will not diminish the value of the car but that doesn’t mean (might lose profit when I’m selling the car privately).
