    All I needed to do was pick up a package. The day I go to pick up the package they have locked up the place 2 hours early and have not reopened since. I'm now going to have to explain to my daughter why she doesn't have her Christmas present this year, and it's just because the owner decided to close. There is no indication if it is permanent or if it's just temporary, but all I know is I won't be able to pick up my package when I need it so don't trust UPS ever

    The store permanently closed on 12/19/2025. I have/had a mailbox at this store, mostly to accept packages. Last few months customer service has declined. Always being told my package was not there and after insisting they check again, it would be found "under something else". No surprise I got a phone call letting me know the store was permanently closing the next day. No consideration or assistance on packages I already had enroute, including required medication for a dog. I have spent hours trying to track packages or change the delivery address and being lied to by the store staff. Why would they accept my package after they closed instead of refusing it? I'm not going to hold my breath on getting a refund on unused time for my mailbox. I feel bad for the store staff losing their jobs. However, it appears UPS didn't care about the customers or employees alike. Another big company who treats people with no regard because they can and will.

    Shows up an hour and 20 minutes before close and the store is closed and locked, no lights, and no sign saying why its closed

    Absolutely do not want to ever have to deal with UPS again. I would rather use FedEx or USPS for any shipping needs any time. I went there to ship a return to Macy’s since I obviously can’t go to the actual store and they couldn’t print off shipping labels. A shipping store could NOT print off shipping labels LOL I hardly ever ship things so I had to drive all around town trying to figure out how to print a label and then ship it through UPS without wasting a ton of gas which I ended up having to do anyway. I ended up paying for a label at FedEx and returning the item through Staples. Then I had another return and I went in and the store’s line was so long it was curled around be store and there was only one worker. UPS desperately needs to invest and update their stores. There is absolutely no reason it should be this difficult to ship something. Especially when there are only 2 stores in town.

    If I could give no stars I would I came to drop off prepaid packages and my printer was low on ink so the bar code wouldn’t scan. The woman who helped me was in her 40 or 50’s short with brown curly hair. She sighs and shoves the packages back at me and says she can enter them in the system. I went to the ups store in moline near planet fitness and the woman scanned it in no problem. So I asked the woman at the Davenport location to enter them manually because I needed to drop those packages off today and she didn’t even give me this option she was going to send me on my way with helping at all. When I asked her if she could enter them manually she sighs and says she can never has much luck scanning them in but she’ll try all aggressively. I was so uncomfortable there was a few people behind me and she made me feel like a burden. This wasn’t an issue and moline the woman was very polite gave me a receipt and did all she could to help me. I will never go to the Davenport ups store on Kimberly again and will tell all my friends very bad service. She didn’t even give me a receipt or say thank you.
