- EMelizabeth mohagenDec 14, 20211.0Nightmare experience with the Hilo office, they recorded the wrong lot number on my deed back in March 2021, never informed me, even though county property office contacted them in July 2021 to tell them deed invalid, I didn’t find out till late October when I was wondering where tax bill was. Contacted Hoshida who told ME to call the County office to see why I didn’t receive tax bill, It Was Because They recorded wrong lot number and my deed is invalid, now legal dept at First American Is having to try and find seller which they are having trouble it’s been since Nov 3rd when I filed claim, just called County records office and found out they called First American back in July to correct problem, and they never did anything just plain negligent at everything they do, they do not take accountability, so it’s been 9 months now since I purchased property and still not done with this nightmare. Very unprofessional and negligent with legal papers, a monkey could do a better job.....oh and by the way most of the positive reviews are real estate agents go figure, not there hard earned dollars at stake. Real estate agents make money from your hard earned savings and investments when you sell and buy.
