- ACAndre ChircoJul 18, 20252.0This was my wife and I’s first time buying a house and I would say it put a bad taste in our mouth working with this title company. I would say it started when we came in and as being first home buyers we expected more of a welcoming/congratulations feel but it felt so unwelcoming. The lady who we signed the paperwork apologized that she wasn’t happier/chipper because she wasn’t feeling well but still like there was no congratulations or anything after signing all the papers. We came in with what the instructions told us we needed to do and actually left the title company with no keys to OUR HOUSE because they were waiting for the confirmation that the funds were wired even though we had another way of paying them based off of the instructions provided. I hope we never have to have this company as a title company and working through Veterans United we made sure they knew how unpleasant this supposed to be exciting time in our lives really was. Such a shame to feel the negativity that we felt sitting in the room and to leave with no keys/combo to OUR HOUSE was such a crap feeling. We didn’t get the code until we were driving home because the title company refused to let our realtor release the combo to get into OUR HOUSE. Never again.
