- KHKelly HinesMay 11, 20214.0This is probably one of the best post offices in the city. However, it gets four stars because of how an employee treated us last Saturday. We went to buy stamps; my husband wanted Star Wars stamps to collect and we bought other ones to use. He made a comment about how he is geeking out and he had his phone in his hand at the time and holding it like he was texting. The lady helping us asked if he was taking pictures because apparently you can’t take pictures in the post office. If true, that’s understandable since it’s a government business. My husband was not taking pictures and instead texting his relatives because his mom had just had a medical emergency a half hour before we arrived and was taken to the hospital. He said this to the employee, but she was more concerned if he was taking pictures instead of apologizing for assuming he was and not once showed empathy for what had just happened to his mom. It’s possible she wasn’t sympathetic because it was close to closing time on a Saturday. But if she had known it was a rough week for us because of a previous medical emergency earlier in the week maybe she wouldn’t have jumped to conclusions. We’ve never had issues with this post office, minus this incident.
