- RDRandy DemarySep 3, 20211.0This was a total bust for me. I bought a new home from Taylor Morrison and with all the other things to worry about, just decided to use their preferred closing agent. Communication was terrible; they wouldn't respond to my emails until we got within a day or two of closing. Then, the day prior to closing they told me that it would be impossible to close on time due to when filing for my county takes place. They knew that all along and never said anything! That should have been disclosed WAY in advance. And the agent was just plain rude. I emailed to ask that they send me scanned copy of my closing paperwork that I never received and she was sure to include that she was "re-sending it." She also was quick to heatedly blame the delayed closing on my lender (who definitely did contribute to the problems). I generally try to find something to balance out my feedback, but they haven't given me much to work with here. I guess the best I can say is that they did offer the pdf version of my paperwork and I did eventually receive it. I'll stick with Placer Title in Davis for now on.
