- ADAgatha DoNov 25, 20251.0Usually I don't have issues with the title company. After working with First American and Placer Title, I'd go with the latter next time. Brooke Fitzgerald keeps telling me I can't cancel the Home Warranty but in fact I can and even the warranty company will issue the check back to escrow. She's making all sorts of hoops to jump through to get my money back and now needs an amendment to the contract. Next time, pick any other title company than this one! Also, First Am has a lot more closing cost fees than Placer Title.
