- SLSagar LakhaniNov 9, 20251.0The customer service at ADP was not great during 2021 (COVID-19 pandemic). Since then, I have heard that ADP has improved its customer service but has also changed its pricing model to reflect a higher-tier level of dedicated customer service support. I am unsure if ADP is the right fit for smaller employers (fewer than 50 employees); however, for mid-size to large employers, I think using ADP is less cost-prohibitive.
- MCMaria CastanedaAug 28, 20201.0Get a 0 Star. I have been patient since March, 2020 (COVID 19). ADP can never provide me with an answer or return my calls. I had our CA ER State Taxes deferred for 2nd Qtr. I mailed a letter on 5.1.20 to EDD requesting for a 60 day extension. I didn't receive the letters from them till 8.11.20 granting us the extension for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Qtr. We did not defer taxes on the 1st Qtr. I wrote ADP an email on 8.12.20 from my service request on ADP Run and attached the 3 letters I received from EDD granting us extension for 1st, 2nd and 3 Qtr. In the email I asked if they could provide me with a date to have our money in our account for ADP to pay 3rd Qtr for extension date 1.4.2021. Also, I requested 4th qtr deferral Program to be discontinued due to not receiving an extension letter from EDD. Yvonne Ochoa opened my email on 8.13.20 but never responded. I noticed on my last two pay periods for pay day 8.7.20 and 8.21.20 (3rd Qtr. payroll) I did not receive my invoice from ADP indicating my credits for CA State Taxes. So I called ADP today and was transferred to 3 different departments including tax team. The last person I spoke with Nate at Client Services said my 3rd Qtr CA Tax Deferral Program had been stopped. I was so upset and asked him "who authorized it? No one from ADP Communicated this to me. This is not right!" We were granted the extension for 3rd qtr from EDD and to be paid by 1.4.2021. Nate said he needed to speak with Tax Team regarding my questions that were never answered from my email. I said, "I just spoke with Don who couldn't answer my question, he was from Tax Team, and transferred me to you!" With that said, since March 2020, this is what I have been going through. ADP does not know from their right hand to their left. They are so uninformed, and I was transferred to different departments since March 2020. I don't have time for this. I am so frustrated/irritated with them and as soon as I can find another payroll service I am leaving ADP. ADP is too big! Horrible service!

During this time of Covid-19 I was unsure of how I was going to pay my employees. Justin set me up with a program allowing me to pay with a credit card. I love my employees with all my heart, and I am forever grateful for Justin and ADP La Palma for allowing me to provide for them!
