- LBLauren BeanMay 31, 20241.0I try to only leave positive reviews, but this needed to be recorded. We worked with Michelle S. while selling our property. She communicated consistently with us as if I knew the ins and outs of the transfer process. It lead to us asking for clarification and clear expectations and left her perturbed and short fused. I would have left the relationship at that, but there was a discrepancy on where the money ended up after the sale. When I asked for her support with hopes to understand she blamed Fidelity Title Co, left me with little to no information, and gave me their number because “it wasn’t a First American Title problem”. It wasn’t a Fidelity problem, either, but I was able to speak to someone knowledgable about all aspects of transferring the title and gave me the information I need. If you’re looking for a smooth process I would NOT recommend First American. Save yourself a headache and use Fidelity.
