- NNNate NoeiOct 9, 20251.0I am significantly dissatisfaction with the escrow services provided by First American Title in Cupertino, with Larry Lacotti, Branch manager, for the purchase of my new home in Los Gatos, California. The process, which they managed, has been fraught with issues, and several critical problems remain unresolved. First, the final closing statement was not provided until the day before the scheduled signing. This delay forced a rescheduling of the signing appointment, as I discovered an unexpected and substantial fee on the loan that required clarification. Second, the handling of the leased solar panels has been exceptionally poor. Despite the property transfer, I still do not have access to the solar account. My attempts to resolve this directly with the solar company have been met with the response that I am not authorized and that First American Title needs to officially notify them of the transfer. This lack of action on your part has created a major problem, as I have had to replace the roof, and the solar panels are now uninstalled and cannot be re-mounted until this issue is resolved. My real estate agent and even the seller have sent multiple emails to the escrow office regarding these matters, but we have received no satisfactory resolution.
