To start the team sent the deed of trust of someone else's house mistakenly with personal information along with our documents. When we told her she said just disregard and throw it out. We are one business day away from close and no settlement documents as of Friday afternoon on a 38 day close and no mortgage to deal with for the title company. Poor communication and no accountability. I am sure Kimbie's team will respond as they have for other complaints and say "sorry you feel that way". Not feelings, just facts. Despite a signed contract entitling my client to $2,000 if the buyer failed to perform, this title company released funds back to the buyer after the close of escrow date — a clear violation of what was agreed to. My client was left without the money that was rightfully theirs. I’ve reached out multiple times and have not received a response or follow-up. They have completely ghosted us. Whether intentional or not, this created serious financial harm for my client and undermines any trust I would normally place in a neutral escrow or title company. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company to do their due diligence and make sure you fully understand how your funds will be handled — because in our case, what happened was unacceptable.
