fountain tire has brutal service. had brand new rims and tires installed on a brand new toyota 4runner. Truck never sees gravel roads, before long tires began cupping and truck shaking horribly at 90km/hr. took the vehicle in several times over the course of about a month to investigate the problem. tire rotation is all they said i needed but it never fixed the problem. Had to go to Kal tire for a second oppinion, they realised the issue in 5 minutes because they actually jacked the front end of the car up rather then just put it on a hoist. rather then check the alignment they just let it go. now im on the hook for over 2000 in repairs because of their neglegence. when confronted i was offered 40 dollars for my used tires that i paid close to 2000 for, and they were NOT willing to do anything about the damaged front end. Calvin at the Red Deer edgar industrial branch is a real winner. my father in law polishes every large tractor trailer and wheels in the Red Deer area, good thing he has good relationships with these trucking companies so he can spread the word. Will never step foot in a fountain tire again.

I had four near new tires installed on my wife's car a few months ago, The right rear tire had a slow leak, it was taken back to the shop, the tire was repaired but it continued to have a slow leak, it was taken in again for repair, came back but it still had a slow leak, was returned again to Fountain tire where it was repaired yet again, came back now without the leak but had not been balanced so the car had a bad vibration at speed. The car was returned yet again to the shop where my wife was told that the tires were all out of balance, she had the tires balanced again, apparently two of them were out of balance. The car came back now with much vibration ant the steering wheel shook back and forth, my wife would not drive the car. I took the car to another shop where they found the tires had been rotated improperly and the front axle had one of the new tires and one of the older worn tires installed, the overall diameter of the two front tires was not equal hence the steering wheel shaking back and forth, one of the newly balanced wheels was in fact way out of balance. Again as always there had been a charge for this work.IS THIS THE LEVEL OF SERVICE WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE FROM A COMPANY THAT PROFESSES TO CARE AND CLAIMES TO LIVE UP TO A HIGHER LEVEL IN TERMS OF SERVICE????

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire (Corporate Office)

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
