But, was told that they would work me in with Billy Jean, a higher level, more experienced stylist. As I had long hair in great condition, I requested a stylist who was experienced in cutting long hair, so the natural wave would be supported by the cut. I specifically said that I wanted layers to support the wave and for it to curl under, NOT to flip up. I specifically requested that my cut was to be versatile. Also, long enough to be put up in a ponytail and other styles. My cut was not be alot of work, or requiring the use of tools and products inorder to look good. This is after I told her that I don't use or want to have to use blow dryers, as they blows out any natural waves I do have. At this point, another hour had passed, and now it was cut all one length and she said I had to get a round brush to blow it so it curled under. Just what I told her I didn't want to have to do! So, I explained again what I had hoped for. Another hour later my hair was cut so short that there was no versatility possible. My only option is to wait for it to grow back. I texted the salon afterwards but never heard anything back from them. I have never been so disappointed by someone I trusted with my long hair.
