We booked a deep tissue couples massage and received a Swedish massage, we ask for deep form pressure when asked and indicated that on the paperwork. After our massage as we were leaving, both therapist tuned to my husband and I and said next time you need to get a deep tissue massage (next time?). When we spoke to mgt. We were given 20% to have to book another massage with the adequate pressure, it’s not the therapist fault but we should not have to pay for 2 massages and only receive 20% off a massage neither of us would have chosen and now we have to find more time to get what we originally requested (and pay again?) Just not sure this seems like the customer service I’m looking for from a spa of this caliber.

I was looking forward to a massage here and even took off time from work. As I was on my way, I get a call asking if they can push my and my husband's appointment out by 30 min. Although annoying, I understood and was fine with this. I get there early and they showed me to the locker room and gave a robe, but they did not give slippers and after waiting for 10 min for someone, I was about to walk out in my sneakers when a nice lady I chatted with was able to flag someone down and get a pair for me. After waiting for almost an hour, they were 10 min late for the new appointment time to get me. As we go back into the room, I was asked if there’s any problem areas and I mentioned that I have a condition but my doctor approved for me to get a massage. They said they have a strict policy to where they can’t give me a massage and double checked with the manager on this. So after waiting for over an hour, no massage but they said they would switch my service to a facial, which is not what I came for. I declined and they said I could wait while my husband got his massage. We wanted our massages to be together so we declined and asked to cancel the service. The massage therapists did feel bad and were professional through the whole situation, so this is no fault to them. I then go to the front to ensure my service is cancelled and I won’t be charged. The lady at the front reiterated this policy (if so, where was it when I booked or filled out forms both online and in person or why not provide a liability waiver that I could sign?) and said the massage products wouldn't be safe for me, which I'm concerned for anyone using because this means they are not natural and likely heavily synthetic. She then tries to gaslight me that they’re doing me favor by waiving their cancellation fee and were trying to force me to reschedule when “it is safe for me to get a massage”. Well it's safe to say that I will NEVER come back as they have a complete lack of respect for people's time and, if you have a strict policy like this, you should be more transparent at the time of booking or filling out the forms.

Aubrey for esthetics and Aryana for Mani/Pedis are amazing technicians. I wouldn't got anywhere else for services. In addition, the concierge team, such as Josh, Sarah, Jessica, and Madison, are also amazing and so patient, kind, and helpful when I'm booking my services. Thank you to all!

This was my second visit, just moved to San Antonio. I saw the same aesthetician who was amazing, but both times there have been added services performed and she did not disclose there would be an added cost. I find out at time of payment for service. I thought the first time that maybe she wasn’t clear, but it happened again today. My previous spa of 10 years in Austin, went over the steps they were performing and if there was something they recommended we discussed the cost and whether I wanted to have it done.

Gemma is the only person whom I’ve seen for massages and she’s very good, and extremely nice. The ladies at the front desk extremely helpful and nice. Reasonable price for the quality of service. They’re products high quality and effective. I’d recommend Woodhouse highly.
