  Frustrating experience. Was told in the local Chanel Beauty Boutique that the item I was shopping for was sold out/not available. However when chatting on the Chanel website I was told that 2 boutiques in the DC area have it in stock but she could not facilitate the purchase. Instead I would have to go back to my local boutique if I wanted it shipped from another boutique because all phone calls to the boutiques go through central customer service which includes the people who respond to the chats.

  Absolutely fo NOT order anything online from this Company. Especially if you want it in a timely fashion. They get you gift cards for birthdays a day after the birthday and have a million excuses as to why it's late or non existent. After years of getting gift cards as gifts online this is the first time I've been burned. And if you purchase a gift card on line you can't use at Store. It must be used online. Worst experience I've ever had...

  I came into the store today to restock on some of my essential makeup items and see what new things I can grab. As I walked in a blonde associate greeted me but also looked me up and down in the process with a very judgmental look. To picture me I’m wearing converse and I’m dressed a little grungy today, but make no mistake I have many designer items in my closest. After she judged me she proceeded to tell me not to walk into the area I was going to (I was headed straight to the makeup) because they were having consultations with some clients and she didn’t want me to disturb them?? Okay… I’ve worked in makeup retail in the past and I would never do that to a potential buyer lol, I was about to spend a couple hundred dollars in that store. Not really a way to treat someone especially when there is 10+ other stores in the mall I can go buy Chanel products. I turned around and said okay I’ll shop elsewhere. And that’s exactly what I did, I bought my Chanel at a different store. Hope you guys made sales goal today — if you didn’t know that it was the blonde associates fault. xo

  I came here looking for a certain cosmetic product after finding that Neiman’s did not have it. Rychenne helped me choose the product I was looking for and did an excellent job explaining the products available. Staff were very friendly and welcome for most of my visit, but toward the end I felt a bit rushed and embarrassed. This is somewhat understandable if I clearly wasn’t looking to make a purchase, but at this point I had already purchased some eyeliner. The experience was more strange than negative. From my understanding the store is primarily used for beauty consultation appointments, so I suggest making one before visiting. Neiman’s cosmetics section is also nearby with plenty of Chanel.
