Evan has hands of gold and I’m literally obsessed with this place. It’s so relaxing and chill and it’s super professional. So many different kinds of treatments also.

I’ve been to Woodhouse Spa before and specifically picked it to celebrate with my husband on our honeymoon. I chose Woodhouse because of the standard of it being so excellent and the amenities that come with the experience at every location I’ve ever been at. Well, this location is much different. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers felt cheap and made my hair feel like straw- the blowdrier was a cheap version probably from Walmart or something and there are only 2 showers. At any other location I’ve been at they have top of the line products, including Dyson hair driers and Olaplex shampoo and conditioner. I also arrived at 11:20 for our 12pm appointment. We were not taken back until closer to 1pm. They offered us a complimentary add on service of the salt room, which seemed nice but also seemed as if the therapists were running late and they were trying to cover up for that. Then, when booking I booked a couples massage- when checking out I paid for two separate massages even though we were in the same room which also was a much different price. With tip I was charged more than $100 more than I originally thought I would be spending, leaving paying over $350 for two 50 minute massages seems crazy to me. I could have gone somewhere else for half the price and had a similar experience- it’s disappointing considering Woodhouse is known for its excellence and the standard it’s held at. A learning experience, will not attend this location again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I booked a much needed massage , the 80 minute deep tissue and added cupping. I took the day off from work to have a much needed self care day. I usually go to Panacea but wanted to try Woodhouse. I arrived 45 minutes early, because the email and voicemail said to arrive early to give me time to get in a robe and not cut into my massage time , understandable . I arrive early, do the paperwork , get in a robe and wait in waiting room. My massage was scheduled for 3:30 last Friday. I had been waiting about 35 mins , and the power went out. Five plus minutes later someone finally comes to the waiting room and says the power is out and told me she didn’t know what to do and that she would call her boss. I was then told to get dressed and that they couldn’t do my massage anymore , when my massage time was supposed to have started already. I get that it was a power outage but i had scheduled my whole day around this and wasted my time and money. Days later and still nothing from the manager. No apology, nothing . I was told by the worker that “maybe “ i would get a discount or credit for future massage since I was highly inconvenienced but no, NOTHING. BUT, if I were to cancel within 24 hours i would have fully been charged ! Horrible management here and not what I expected from a “luxury” place. SAD.

The staff is always so nice. The only service I have received is a massage, but all of them are wonderful. I leave feeling relaxed and pampered

I wouldn't really recommend this place. The massage was relaxing enough, but I didn't feel like the pricing was transparent. I booked a 50+ minute hot stone massage with a scalp massage addon. However, I didn't realize that this wouldn't include any additional time. It just meant that I paid $20 for a tablespoon of oil to be rubbed into my scalp. I also booked the same service for my sister at the same time. She said they asked her what scent she preferred for the oil, and she chose peppermint. Then, they charged an additional $25 for "aromatherapy" while my sister thought that this was just part of the hot oil scalp massage. Both of us were disappointed that the scalp massage didn't include any extra time and that my sister paid twice over for the oil. The checkout was also a bit awkward because the receptionist asked how much we would like to tip. There was no tip screen or way to do this discretely. Massages are a luxury service, and I expect to pay for that. However, I did feel like they could have been more clear that I was paying $20 for 1 tbsp of oil. They also didn't tell my sister that by choosing a scent, she would be charged for aromatherapy. There are definitely places where you can get an equal, if not better, experience for the price. (As a side note, we were asked multiple times if we were celebrating something, even after I said that we were there as self-care after losing a family member earlier in the week. Yikes.)
