He listened to me when I told him others have often left my hair too brassy (it's naturally pretty dark) and was able to get the exact color I wanted, which was honestly a huge relief and surprise. I really appreciate him listening to my concerns and taking good care of me! And it feels great when my friends tell me how pretty my new hair is. 🥰

He’s very professional and fun to talk to and he made me feel very comfortable. I have bad anxiety when it comes to these things but he made me feel welcomed and like I entered a no judgment zone. I definitely recommend him, so thank you so so much Joe you saved me hair!!! lol will return!

He has always been professional and caring. After going elsewhere from time to time, I have always went back as he does a fantastic cut, his loft looks beautiful and his rates are reasonable .

I've lived in Columbus for 13 years and never found a stylist to cut long thick hair layers without ending up with what I call the "mushroom atomic bomb"! That's when you leave the salon looking great, because they blow and style it and then when I do it myself I get a big puff starting at my ears and the bottom portion is thinned out making it look the shape of a mushroom cloud. 🤣 I'm a busy mom and styling and products are not my thing. I want to be a wash and go girl, and now I am. Thanks Leroy, I'll see you in a few months.
- CBCarrie Beaver2 days ago1.0I want to share my experience honestly so others can make an informed decision before seeing Leroy/Joe. While I did like the results of my hair usually, the overall unprofessionalism was a serious concern. My appointments were canceled multiple times, often last minute. During visits, there was frequent unprofessional conversation about other clients concerns and issues, which made me uncomfortable. Although this felt like a red flag, I initially overlooked it, hoping it wouldn’t become an issue for me. Unfortunately, it did, particularly after I respectfully expressed my frustrations. I feel I had to overlook multiple things throughout the time having Leroy do my hair. I also experienced physical discomfort during services. On one occasion, my scalp was burned due to product being left on too long and again during blow-drying. Pain from how rough he was with brushing etc. Another time, I was asked to blow-dry my own hair but was still charged for a full styled service. I was also told by Leroy another client had been upset by this same situation so I paid the service I never received due to fear it would cause an issue like the one described. I had the same service every time and was charged differently every time. When I tried to communicate my concerns calmly and respectfully, I was blocked without any response or attempt to resolve the issue. I was also blocked from making future appointments. Sadly, the same pattern occurred with individuals I personally referred, which was disappointing. At no point was accountability taken and the level of unprofessionalism he exhibited on multiple occasions was disturbing. I stayed longer than I should have because I liked how my hair looked, but over time the repeated lack of professionalism outweighed the results. I was also asked to complete a review, which may explain the number of positive reviews listed. Ultimately, I am not willing to spend hundreds of dollars to be treated as though I am the problem. I hope this feedback helps others decide whether this is the right fit for them.
