I waited a long time before writing this review, as I wanted to be fair and thoughtful.
I had my hair transplant performed by Dr. Gohil, with Mike as the sales representative. Initially, everything seemed smooth — I paid a $1,000 deposit to secure my date. However, after further research I began to have doubts and expressed my concerns directly to Dr. Gohil. I explained that my hair loss was due to a car accident and that I had a visible scar. I was assured that this would not be a problem and that it could be corrected.
At one point, I even told them I preferred not to proceed and that they could keep the deposit. Instead, Dr. Gohil offered me a discount, which persuaded me to move forward. I ultimately paid $10,000 for what was supposed to be 3000 grafts. In reality, only about 1,000 were transplanted — I counted them myself.
During the procedure, I remained awake the entire time. The actual work was carried out primarily by assistants or technicians. Dr. Gohil administered anesthesia and made the incisions, but the rest of the surgery was not handled directly by him. The interaction with Mike was uncomfortable; he was noticeably irritated about the discount and carried himself in a way that felt unprofessional.
The results have been deeply disappointing. The transplanted hair in the scarred area fell out, density was never achieved, and the donor area was left with visible damage. Because of this, I can no longer wear shorter hairstyles without exposing patches and holes. To correct this, I will now have to undergo SMP treatment at an additional cost of around $3,000.
What is even more concerning is the lack of aftercare. There was no genuine follow-up, no calls, and no check-ins from the doctor — nothing. Nearly three years later, most of the transplanted hair has fallen out, and I am left with scarring, wasted money, and disappointment.
As a hairdresser with more than 20 years of experience, and the owner of three salons in the U.S. (Southampton, Palm Beach, and NYC), I cannot in good conscience recommend this clinic to anyone. I have seen far better results from my clients who traveled to Turkey, paying a fraction of what I paid here.
I share this review not out of bitterness, but out of responsibility — so others can make informed decisions. In my personal experience, this clinic prioritizes financial gain over patient care, and the results reflect that.
Update:
After posting my review, the clinic reached out offering a “touch-up” procedure with a new doctor, explaining that Dr. Gohil had allegedly sold his share of the business. I declined, as I do not want to risk additional scarring or further complications. I made it clear that the only compensation I would consider, given the disastrous outcome of my procedure, is financial reimbursement. Once I stated this, all communication from the clinic stopped.
This response only reinforces my view: patient care and accountability are not their priorities.

I recently had a hair transplant with Dr. Rafi, and I can’t praise him enough for the incredible experience. From start to finish, Dr. Rafi and his team were phenomenal. He dedicated an impressive 14 hours in a single day to ensure everything was perfect, and true to his promise, I felt no pain throughout the entire procedure. His expertise and precision delivered outstanding results, and I’m beyond thrilled with my new hairline. Dr. Rafi’s staff was professional, supportive, and made me feel completely at ease. This was hands-down the best medical experience I’ve ever had, and I’m forever grateful for Dr. Rafi’s skill and dedication. Highly recommend!
