  I had an amazing experience for my first manicure and pedicure with Lucia A++++....and a maximus package which also included a salt scrub and massage with Doreen....my total experience was terrific and she's very personable. This place is very classy and I would recommend it.

  A.F. Bennett Salon is absolutely amazing. From the second you walk in, the space feels welcoming, professional, and relaxing. The staff is incredibly talented and truly takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable and leave happy with your results. A huge shoutout to Olivia at the front desk—she is seriously the best. She’s so friendly, organized, and helpful, and she makes the entire experience smooth from booking to checkout. She always greets you with a smile and makes you feel taken care of before you even sit in the chair. Overall, this salon is top-tier. Great service, great energy, and amazing people. I couldn’t recommend A.F. Bennett enough!

  Caitlin is truly amazing. From the moment I sat in her chair, she took the time to really listen to what I wanted and explained the process in a way that made me feel completely comfortable and confident. My balayage came out absolutely beautiful—so natural, perfectly blended, and incredibly flattering for my skin tone and hair type. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. The attention to detail, technique, and patience she puts into every step really shows in the final result. My hair not only looks stunning, but it also feels healthy, soft, and full of dimension. The grow-out is seamless, which is exactly what I was hoping for. On top of her talent, Caitlin is warm, professional, and easy to talk to, which made the entire experience even better. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands balayage and delivers consistent, high-quality results, I can’t recommend Caitlin enough. I’m beyond happy with my hair and will definitely be returning.

  Made an appointment for a boho braid updo. When at the appointment I asked the girl at the desk how much she said said typically around 113. After the stylist tried very hard to make my hair look like the picture but FAILED they charged me 157 at the desk due to the stylist saying my hair is long. My hair is not even to the middle of my back. Confirm the price before doing any work and make sure the person they give u has experience doing formal updo bc they make up their own ridiculous prices. What i had done was not worth the price AT ALL. I paid but left disappointed. A few ppl at the party thought i did my hair myself.

  I am disgusted by this spa and how managers react when an esthetician hurts the client. Here is my story.. I wanted to go to a “nicer” spa for a facial on my birthday so my mother found this place with based solely on reviews. The esthetician that did my facial was Nancy who had 20+ years doing this. I like a calm, quite environment but she spoke through the entire facial which was not pleasant as this is the time to relax. Given Nancy’s experience, I would hope she knew the difference between pimples and skin colored moles/bumps on the face, however.. she did not. Nancy extracted pimples along with two skin-colored moles which bled during the facial and she did not tell me. I could not tell directly after as my face looked red, but the next day as my skin calmed down, I saw the damage that was done. I immediately called the spa to let them know what happened. There are several managers at AF Bennet. The first I spoke with was Theresa, I sent her a picture since I lived in a different borough so I would have to pay a toll. Then, she said I would have to come in so she can look more closely at it as if she did not believe me. I went in on my birthday which is not something I wanted to do but I wanted her to see what Nancy had done to my face. She took pictures and told me she would send them to the other managers. Theresa made it as if it was no big deal and she scratches marks like that all the time and it will go away. I asked for the money back but instead she said “How about you come in on a day Nancy is not there?” Theresa completely ignored what I wanted and gave me some acne cream and told me to cover it as it was under my glasses. I said I should see a doctor because I was in pain, she said just put this on it with another esthetician and there was no need for a doctor’s appointment. I wish I listened to my gut and went to a doctor. A month passed and it was not healing. It was red and still bleeding so I called back and spoke with Theresa again but now her attitude completely changed. She was nasty about it but I insisted I wanted my money back. She would have to get back to me. I kept calling and then got another manager Michele, who had no idea what happened even though Theresa said she would share the pictures she took of my face. Again, I was running after Michele to get a response as she was not the general manager. Tina, general manager was finally made aware of the situation when I got ahold of her. I was disgusted that Theresa never shared the pictures she took of my face with her. Theresa took pictures of my face and just kept them in her phone?? At first, Tina sounded sincere about the situation, I had to explain everything from the beginning as Theresa never told her anything. I told her I’ve been in pain due to the negligence of Nancy. I was refunded when I told her it was healing and that I will not come back. She said I need more details to know what is going on with your face. So, I sent her the information and she told me it must be an underlying condition. This would have eventually come out anyways. I never had a problem with this area before and I get skin checks every year yet a general manager read a summary from an MD and determined this. I am absolutely appalled by all of the people at this place. If this was their daughter, sister, etc.. I bet their reaction would be different. I am now going for a confoccal imaging procedure to make sure everything is ok and they do not want to pay for this. If I have to take further action after the procedure, I will take them to court. This place does not care about people. I would look elsewhere if you want a facial!!
