I booked a haircut over a week in advance with a stylist I hadn’t been to before. I received multiple confirmation texts and emails, including reminders right up to the day of the appointment. When I arrived, the suite/loft space was completely empty. I texted the stylist using the contact info provided, and she informed me she no longer works at the lofts—and had no idea why the system still allowed the booking.
This was a complete waste of my time and gas, and now I’m scrambling to find another appointment before leaving town in a few days. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Fringe Salon- Corrine Fenn- Poor Results, No Accountability – Please Read Before Booking
I had two highly disappointing experiences with Corinne, and I truly regret giving her a second chance. Both times, she left my hair uneven, overly warm, and extremely brassy. After spending over $600, I expected a stylist who would stand behind her work and help correct mistakes—not one who would deflect blame and shut down communication.
Rather than acknowledging the poor outcome, Corinne blamed me, claiming I needed to "decide what I wanted." For clarity: from the very beginning, I consistently asked for gray blending without going super dark at the root. Somehow, that turned into her taking my hair extremely blonde—so much so that it washed out my skin tone and fried the health of my hair.
After my last appointment, I even mentioned to her that I was considering toning my hair at home. She never once offered to fix it herself or provide guidance—just silence. Eventually, she blocked me entirely, refusing to address my concerns. This lack of integrity and basic professionalism was the final straw.
Thankfully, I recently visited Michelle Cameron at The Parlor Hair Salon in Waxhaw. She not only listened but gave me a thoughtful, expert solution: proper gray blending with a soft root shadow that will allow my natural grays to grow in seamlessly. Exactly what I wanted from the start.
If your hair pulls warm, if you have grays, or if you’ve ever used box color—please save yourself the time, money, and heartache. Corinne might market herself as a blonde “expert,” but in my experience, she only delivers results on a narrow range of hair types.
Steer clear—and go see Michelle instead.
