But when it was time to pay, the lady asked if I wanted to add a tip, then immediately asked how much—and told me I needed to enter the amount myself on the screen. It just felt really awkward and unnecessary. I’ve never been anywhere that handles tipping like that, and it left a weird impression after such great service

I’ve been to multiple locations and wanted to give them a shot. When I asked for more shape, they gave me the excuse that it could risk cutting off too much. I’ve gone to other places that take their time and do much better for less. I won’t be back. Update: I went back in and they re-did them and made them better, but asking me “Just a clean up” should = shaping them as well. Every other place I go to doesn’t ask that, they actually clean up and shape.
