- JWJerolyn Waddles5 days ago1.0First off let me start by saying a appreciate her cutting my hair to my liking; however, when I came in the shop, the same lady that cut my hair was cutting this guys hair, once she finished with cutting his hair and checked him out she didn’t ask him for a tip. Where the issue lye with me is once she was done cutting my hair and checked me out she looked at the screen and said to me “ no tip” I said no and she said well that’s how I make my living. Let me start by saying I am struggling and to ask me for a tip when I’m struggling highly pissed me off. Like no one told you to cut hair for a living. I just baffled that she asked me for a tip but didn’t ask the white man’s hair she was cutting for a tip. I am not saying it’s a race thing but why didn’t she ask him for a tip but asked me.

- DDDONIA DUCHESSAug 3, 20251.0I came here on a Sunday to get my hair washed since my normal salon was closed. I will NEVER EVER COME BACK here again. The manager Rachel was so rude and disrespectful. When I came in I mentioned I have natural curly hair and ONLY needed a wash. I ALSO mentioned that I would detangle my hair myself since I brought my own products. I mentioned it again to the girl who washed my hair while she washed my hair. I’ve NEVER had any issues before at any other salon I’ve ever done this. I asked where I could detangle my hair and one of the stylist pointed me to a booth. As I was detangling my hair the manager came over and let me know that I “needed to leave and wasn’t allowed to style MY OWN HAIR” I apologized and explained that I mentioned it prior to coming in and no one said anything. She then said that I need to wrap MY PRODUCTS up and leave because she already called SECURITY!!! When I tell you I am beyond embarrassed and SHOCKED by her behavior. She stood there and spoke loud enough for other people in the salon to hear and look over. I had to walk out of the salon with HALF of my hair detangled and the other in a scrunchie. I hate to pull the “because I’m a BLACK WOMAN card” but let’s be real…I doubt she would’ve treated a white woman this way in this part of town. To make matters worse, I’m 4 months postpartum and have been experiencing a lot of hair loss. I was so in shock by what happened I got in the car, called my husband and cried. Rachel had no empathy whatsoever. As someone who works on camera and with local stations…this isn’t the last they’ll be hearing from me. NO ONE should be treated this way. I’m beyond disappointed and upset by what just happened.
- ANAkshay NandaAug 1, 20251.0Worst great clips out of all of them. They don’t listen during check in so mixed up my name and my dad’s name. The cancelled our check in. Then put us at the back of the line, 88 minutes later. The barbers have no care in the world, and once they finally cut my hair, almost 2 hours after arriving, they finished in 4 minutes. Literally 4 minutes.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
