I was told it would be $40 for a wash and blow dry or $50 for a wash, blow dry, and silk press. When I asked if they were busy, they said no. I arrived 10 minutes later and went straight to the wash bowl — no waiting at all. There were only a few people in chairs getting services, so it didn’t seem busy. However, it took two full hours for my hair just to be blow dried, and I was charged $45 instead of the $40 I was quoted. The salon itself is very pretty inside, and I tipped the woman who washed my hair. But throughout my visit I was asked over five times if I wanted a silk press even though I kept saying “blow dry only.” The English-speaking staff member even repeated it to them. I could understand a two-hour wait if the salon were crowded, but with no wait at all, the long service time and unexpected price increase were disappointing. Not sure if I’ll visit again
