My wife is always completely happy when she Comes home from her appointment. She says that she is attentive always ready to try anything that my wife brings in a picture for. My wife Haircut or color. Christa is always Friendly and talkative. She is an asset to the salon.

She did an amazing job with my layers and framing, while also giving me lots of tips on styling my curls. It took her less than 30 minutes to wash and cut my hair. She was very personable and professional, which makes me want to come back to have her cut my hair in the future. The salon was very clean, and well kept. I highly recommend this location.

Christa came and got me and per-usual I was asked what I would like. I always leave my haircut to the stylist's interpretation, I say "short sides and back, number 3, keep the length at the top and blend it." She asked how high would she go with number 3 because it looked as if my hair was previously disconnected by my part (it was not). I just told her to do what feels good hoping she followed suit on blending the hair to my top length. As I was getting my hair cut, the stylist's food is arriving. I usually don't take long at my usual Hair Cuttery in Merionette Park, so the time it took didn't worry me. Didn't get a little mirror to check my haircut closer but from the distance it seemed like a very undetailed average haircut. I was wrong. When I got in my car I took a closer look and I had a dug in spot by my ear and the hair covered by my length was noticeably not blended, my part was completely disconnected. I have straight hair so these things can be seen clearly. I go back in, ask for a manager and a young lady said she was the manager and told me she could help me correct these issues. Christa comes from the back after enjoying a few bites of her sandwich. I told her what I noticed and essentially was blamed for not being descriptive enough with what I wanted. I didnt mention the disconnected part, only the unblended hair and messy jabs from her hair clippers she gave me. I'm a calm and quiet person, I usually just say "If it's a bad haircut it will just grow back" but this is worse than the haircuts I did to myself during quarantine, I had to go back in. Once home, I noticed just how jagged the lining in the back was (I'll edit to add pictures). Very unpolished, lacked detail, and unflattering. The 25 years Christa mentioned they had did not show today. but I hope the sandwich was good. I recommend the Hair Cuttery in Merionette Park, IL. They have GREAT stylists and ambiance. Connie, Victoria, Alicia just to name a few for Men's cuts.

She insulted him by saying his previous haircut looked messed up, even though his hair had grown out perfectly fine, we only wanted a light trim on the sides. Instead, she completely messed up his hair. The lines were visible, it wasn’t blended properly, and she even put gel in before cutting… which makes no sense. She rushed through the whole thing and barely let him look in the mirror to check the progress. When he walked back in less than 10 minutes later to ask for it to be fixed, Christa was eating her lunch and acted annoyed that she had to redo her work. Instead of apologizing, she blamed him for not asking for a “blended” and “clean” look! isn’t that the stylist’s job? To make sure the haircut actually looks good? To make it worse, after she finished, he came home with razor bumps and scratches all over his skin, showing the clippers clearly weren’t sanitized. This was completely unacceptable. Christa should not be cutting hair, and my friend deserves a full refund!
