I am so glad i did! These ladies were wonderful!!! They took the time to make sure I was comfortable and understood what I might need, even explained I was eligible for two different programs that would assist in paying, and how to get the paperwork needed so THEY could take care of applications for reimbursement… if you are in need of a wig for any reason, please go here first… you’ll be glad you did!

- CHCarley HamiltonAug 23, 20251.0I went into Simply Wigs in Merrillville, IN with my grandma on 8/20/25 so she could pick up wig shampoo and browse wigs. She has been a loyal, returning customer who has purchased many wigs from this store in the past. When she wanted to try one on, we were told by one of the older ladies working there that there is now a $50 consultation fee just to try on wigs. While the $50 could be applied as a deposit if she bought one, if she didn’t find anything she liked, she would be out the money entirely. For a longtime customer, this policy was outrageous. What made the experience even worse was how rude and unprofessional the staff member was. When my grandma picked out a wig that was slightly curlier than what she usually likes, the older lady actually said: “Well if you don’t like curly, why are you even looking at curly? Why would you choose that?” I had to step in and explain that my grandma liked the length of the wig, not the curls, but regardless, no paying customer should be spoken to that way. This left both of us upset and uncomfortable. What should have been a positive shopping experience turned into frustration and disappointment. After this visit, we will not be coming back and will be looking elsewhere for wigs.
