  I've gone to Penelope June a few times now and I love it. The atmosphere is very welcoming and has a fun vibe. Legacy does a great job managing my fine/thin hair and giving me a cut that is super low maintenance. This last visit I decided to try eyebrow/lip waxing here and will definitely get it here from now on. This was the first place that didn't leave me beat red. The wax they use is very gentle.

  Scheduled my daughter who lives in North Carolina her wedding hair trial months in advance, was required to provide my payment information, along with the event date and what she was interested in. We live over an hour away, we coordinated it with the same day as my daughters wedding venue details meeting In Mooresville so we planned the entire day around the details meeting @ 11:00am and the hair trial @ 6:30pm. When we arrived, the stylist was running a bit late so we patiently waited, finally brought back with her stylist Grace, whom was lovely but upon asking when the event was she informed us that she wouldn’t be available during the event date. Instantly we were both extremely upset and simply tired from the day! Obviously the scheduler didn’t pass along the massive amount of information that was required at the time of scheduling the appointment! Grace a level 3 stylist then asked us to wait so she could try to figure something out as to her asking Harmony, a level 1 stylist if she could take my daughter’s hair trial. This was unknown to us until we looked up the salons website. Sitting watching this young lady attempt to do what was to me an extremely amateur job all while consistently asking help from Grace for advice was horrifying!! Witnessing this sheer unprofessional treatment on my daughters hair my anxiety went up, my stomach started churning and I had to go out to my car. I texted my daughter to let her know that I wasn’t happy with what was happening but if she wanted to let the girl continue then that was up to her. This whole situation was mortifying along with the treatment she received from another bystander stylist when my daughter expressed her frustration which Grace and Harmony both agreed that with everything that had happened, my daughter shouldn’t have to pay yet this horribly rude stylist named Jocelyn stepped in and told my daughter that she couldn’t leave without paying the entire bill! We would’ve been fine with paying half but the whole experience was terrible and my daughter left without paying no hair style and in tears! On our way home we received a call from a co-owner of the salon who supposedly refunded half our payment back although nothing has been shown so far and it’s been since the 23rd of December. I guess that information didn’t get relayed as well. Disgusting experience along with poor professionalism for such a lovely salon.

  I have been going to Ally for ages when she was the only curly hair stylist in the area, all her stylists are fantastic and Highly trained. I had my haircut yesterday by Ruth and I am absolutely obsessed with it! She even gave me a few tips to get my hair as healthy as possible!
