- RBriley brownNov 16, 20251.0I went in for a hair cut with Yolanda on October 30th of this year, and I am greatly upset by what happened. She kept making offhanded comments about how short my hair was before doing the haircut, and during the haircut as well. I showed her a picture of what I wanted (which was a picture of my hair from a year ago), and she was just rude the entire time. when I specifically told her, “i like this length.” she laughed and proceeded to chop most of my bangs off. I could have told her that I wanted her to stop, I just thought that my statement was enough. She didn't even pause, just looked at me through the mirror, laughed, and chopped the majority of my bangs off. The bangs that she cut too short weren’t even, and my hair just looked like a mess. By the end of the haircut, it looked nothing like the reference photo whatsoever. I got a second salon artist to fix my hair, but ultimately I shaved it because of how bad she messed my hair up, and humiliated me by saying, “Women don’t have short hair.” I am never going there again, and I will forever have a hard time trusting people with my hair now. The first picture is what I wanted, the second is the result of the visit.
