- XXXJan 1, 20261.0I tried to give Bangs DC a chance twice, since it was close to my house. Bangs DC is the worst salon I’ve ever been to. My hair got burned / crisped / frizzy during a blowout and turned out horribly. I also got an expensive cut that was uneven and color treatment that went horribly wrong. I wanted a light brown, but after about 8 hours in the chair, the stylist turned my hair black. I came back for a fix, but it turned out worse. The color in my hair was then black AND red. The stylist promised it would fade after a few months, and go to the light brown I wanted, (shouldn’t I leave the salon the way I want to look?) so I left a little sad but hopeful my hair would get better. A few months have passed and the color is dispersed so unevenly and every time I go to another salon for a blowout, they say who on earth did your color?! And beg me to let them fix it. I’m just disappointed with the money and time spent, but happy to leave an honest review to help others avoid this place.

In six years, I have not had any qualms or complaints. She’s always cared for my hair, and my person. Further, the front desk workers and the rest of the staff are warm, professional and inviting. It’s always a joy to be there.
