Best best best. I wish I could give them 20 stars because 5 is not enough. Everything is beyond amazing. The best customer service you could ever ask. I went there for perfume workshop and it was wonderful. All the staff were amazing, they are all exceptional and amazing . Super professional, and great. I love it.

The sales associate who first assisted me did not handle the situation professionally. During checkout, she was simultaneously attending to multiple other customers, even though several other employees nearby were not assisting anyone. Because of this, completing the purchase of just one lipstick and one eyeshadow palette ended up taking much longer longer than necessary.
She also took the complimentary samples meant for me which she retrieved from a room and handed them to another customer who had never interacted with her during my checkout, - “keep it. It’s free” . and then turned back to ask me what kind of samples I wanted—an impolite and unprofessional way of handling the situation.
I don’t like to complain but this really turned out to be a rather unsatisfactory experience.

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. I bought two perfumes -Coromandel (I opened/tried this one) and 1957 (I didn’t open this one). The experience I had trying to return these fragrances at the century city Chanel boutique was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. I purchased a bottle of the coromandel fragrance and after wearing it for a bit my neck became red and itchy. Before buying, I’d asked the associates at the Americana location what their return policy was and was told “14 days with light use”. I’ve only had the perfume for 3 days so I’ve barely used it, however the sales person at century city, Evi, didn’t even bother to look at the bottle to assess if it was lightly used. She said she wouldn’t accept the return because they don’t take anything that’s been opened. I told her what I was told by the Americana location about being able to return a lightly used product. She called her manager 3 times on the phone to discuss it, stepping away to speak where I couldn’t hear the conversation and in the end she said they couldn’t do it. She told me that since I had a reaction to the fragrance, I needed to call headquarters. After a 20 minute struggle with her and her manager (via phone/text), I finally called the customer care phone number and they confirmed that the beauty advisors can accept opened products but it’s at their discretion. Headquarters processed my return and I shipped it back to them but the rude and unpleasant experience I had at this location will always stay with me. After all that, I had the second perfume I was returning (1957 unopened) and Evi couldn’t even figure out how much she was supposed to refund me or how to do it, even though it was very clear on the receipt. She kept saying I’d paid with a gift card and so she could only refund me a portion of the full price. This wasn’t true because I’d used an American Express credit card to pay for the entire purchase. I had to wait for another 30 minutes while the manager deigned to come to the store to refund me back the accurate amount for the unopened perfume. The fact that Chanel’s stance is that a sales associate (who in this case wasn’t even competent enough to process an accurate refund amount to a credit card) can decide whether to accept or deny a return when a customer experiences undesired side effects is unbelievable! Needless to say I will never be shopping at this boutique again and I recommend you buy from elsewhere (Bloomingdales has a Chanel beauty counter right next door). A luxury brand like Chanel should have employees who can clearly communicate and adhere to company policy and should most certainly be trained enough to refund full amounts to customers without manager intervention after a half hour struggle. And by the way, this was not a newly hired associate.

Best experience and best staff. I love Chanel and I’m so happy now they have a boutique in Century City. The staff takes their time to give the Chanel experience and the boutique is gorgeous!
