She even did some stretching with my arms and legs that felt amazing. I can say honestly that I have not had one bad massage since going to NOW. Each of the girls have been a little different depending on what I chose, like Deep tissue, relaxing massage or adding in hot stones. I like having options of different masseuse styles. Loved it!

I went to The Now in Santa Monica ages ago and had a wonderful experience so I wanted to give this location a shot. My therapist was lovely and very communicative but the actual massage was overall disappointing. I asked for medium pressure but felt like it was too light, even after I asked them to apply more pressure. I also requested they don’t use oil in my hair as I just got it done the day before. While they respected this request, I got little to no pressure in the scalp massage and no neck massage. It felt like they were just playing with my hair, if that makes sense. I honestly would’ve preferred if they didn’t give me a scalp massage at all and focused on other parts of my body like my neck or back. The worst part is I left with a neck ache; I didn’t go in there with any neck pain. It’s frustrating that I left feeling worse than I did going in and on my birthday of all days. I’ll likely not come back as it sadly didn’t meet my expectations.

I got the Healer and man does the title fit! I felt like I walked out of there a completely new person! Karen and Victoria were so friendly and welcoming and helped me get checked in, offered me water and showed me where the restroom was.
