He gave the van a quick diagnostic check and gave us some really good advice on mechanics in town and even offered us a ride to our hotel after we paid. Tow was pricey ($350) but considering how remote we were and how bad the road was to get to us, I think price was reasonable.

Next day, Jason calls and said he’d put her up on the hoist, fixed her up and asked if I wanted her back. Of course, yes, I said! What a guy!
