  I always give the lowest possible rating to any business that doesn’t return calls or follow up, no matter how promising they seem at first. I initially called Automatic Transmission Specialists to ask about a simple drain and fill service on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The person I spoke to (I believe his name was Mike) was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. But once I asked a few clarifying questions — like if I could bring my own fluid, or how much the dealer quoted them for fluid — the tone shifted. He seemed a little flustered that I was trying to do my homework before scheduling anything. I told him I’d double-check a few things and get back to them. Since then? Radio silence. I called four more times over the next couple of days — three of those calls went unanswered. I left messages with my number each time. The one time someone did pick up, they said they’d have Mike call me back. That never happened. Look, I don’t expect red carpet treatment for a transmission service quote, but basic communication shouldn’t be this hard. If you're too busy to call people back, just say so — don’t leave customers hanging.
