  I purchased a trailer here, but the experience was unacceptable. I was told I had to buy additional equipment to take the trailer off the lot, including a brake controller and an equalizer hitch, even though none of it was required for my vehicle. That is not guidance, that is pressure, and it is not honest. I was also pushed to call for insurance on the spot despite paying cash. Cash buyers do not need insurance to complete a sale, and forcing that step was unnecessary and misleading. On top of that, the disclosures took far too long to prepare with no clear explanation, which made the process look intentional rather than disorganized. Gene stated he has been doing this for thirty years and claimed no customer has ever been upset about upselling. That attitude speaks for itself. The tactics used were not transparent, and they damaged any trust in the transaction. For anyone considering buying an RV here, understand this clearly. The pricing is fine. The sales tactics are not. This dealership makes its money through pressure based add ons and confusing customers into thinking they are required. To the owner. My appointment was at 3:30 in the afternoon. I was not helped until 4:30. I notified Gene early that morning, giving him the entire day to prepare the paperwork. Instead, the process dragged out for no legitimate reason and wasted most of my evening. Preparing those documents is a twenty minute task at most and there was no excuse for the delay. Both salesman told me they did not care if they sold the RV. That came off very odd.

  We had such a great experience at Camping World thanks to Josh! He went above and beyond to help us out — taking time out of his busy day to walk us through everything we needed to know about our stabilizer hitches. He didn’t just explain it; he actually showed us step-by-step how to properly lube and maintain the hitch. His patience and attention to detail made all the difference. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about making sure you leave confident and informed. Huge shoutout to Josh — you’re awesome! 👏👏

  Do not purchase from camping world, they raised my ins from $40 amonth to $700 a month forcing me to return the trailer due to the new balance, the trailer orginally costed $18k after taxes and fees, after the low ball action and the crazy fees i owe more now. Total of $23k. The company is a scam and im sure im not the only one this has happend to, if this has happend to you, please messg me. I will make sure this doesn’t happend to anybody els.

  Let me start from the beginning I walked into this Camping World a year ago was greeted by a salesman who took me around on the lot, showed me several models of supposedly what I was looking for after giving him an extensive detailed list of everything I wanted he had sold me on a camper I started my paperwork, then come to find out. He was new and didn’t know what he was talking about it didn’t have any features I had requested when I came back a week later to find another camper. He was intoxicated and asked me if I would cover for him by calling Camping World and telling them I needed him to come pick some paperwork up so he can go back to the bar and continue drinking. I requested to change salesman was shown a camper with everything I had requested and made my purchase fast-forward a year later time for warranty check up. I had stated to the service department. I had a two week period of time between jobs to get this check up and repairs done. I had been in contact with them for six months in advance, letting them know of all issues and once again being reassured that was plenty of time to get my parts and get my camper fixed and returned to me after dropping my camper off for its warranty check up. I was greeted by two Women in the service department, who both seem to have a chip on their shoulders I was told by One that she would contact me in two days. By the third day I had to contact her which she informed me. She still had no information she will contact me by 10 AM the next morning. Needless to say I waited an extra five hours before calling her past her 10 AM deadline she passed me off to another woman that didn’t know anything about what was going on as this woman proceeded to tell me there’s no way my repairs can be done in this time Frame and that I just needed to understand after going around in circles with her for over 30 minutes. I had to stop her and tell her to please stop feeding me a bunch of word salad. I just need a straight answer then she proceeded to tell me, it’s all in my warranty book. I should’ve read it. the warranty book is probably 500 pages long I skim through it, but had blindly put my trust and faith in Camping World Service department to be honest with me after expressing my concerns about picking my camper up on my deadline, she wanted to give me attitude and then talked trash to coworker standing around her about the lady she had on the phone Well, I can hear her. Needless to say I still got no straight answers from anybody my camper was in their shop for a week and they did absolutely nothing for me. When I say this camper has issues. I don’t mean cosmetically I mean major issues tip out is leaking and has been for over a year after their third trip to fix it being promised it wouldn’t leak again it’s still leaks. Gas regulator stopped working electrical fuse panel would spark and smoke so tell me why you have had all this information for over six months and a deadline to complete it on you have promised your customer you can do so and then wanna throw me attitude and tell me you just don’t have enough time. I am extremely disappointed in this Camping World . Everything from sales to service. You would think after spending $85,000 they could at least be polite and Not Mock their customers in front of coworkers While they are still on the phone!!! Rude, rude, rude!!! Save yourself time, frustration, and money and buy your camper elsewhere!!!!
