DO NOT PURCHASE PARTS FROM THIS STORE. THEY REQUIRE YOU TO PAY 30.OO AND SIGN UP FOR SOME PROGRAM TO RETURN AN ITEM. AS THE MANAGER SAID, SO THEY CAN SELL YOU MORE ITEMS IN THE FUTURE. YOU WANT TO SELL ME MORE ITEMS, DONT FORCE ME TO PAY FOR A RETURN.

Went to camping world as part of our trip to find a camper. Salesman had to have his supervisor print a list of models that fit our need (bunkroom with a door). After looking at some we settled on a 5th wheel that the salesman said was $19,995. Seemed like a great deal, we decided to buy it. Salesman took it to his supervisor, came back and all the sudden the camper was 32,000+ out the door. We said wait a minute, I even took a picture of the msrp stated in the camper at only 26k. Supervisor came over, said it was a never before seen error. Ok fine, they came down a bit on the price, and we decided to still move forward despite the bait and switch. We line up financing, but the day we are supposed to sign, they call and say, funny story, they dont actually own the camper yet, and need 15 days before they can sell it. This didn't work and we expressed the immediate purchase and expedited process during the original talk with the Salesman. They offered 500$ for an apology on the second bait and switch. We took our money elsewhere, as should others.

The 2 things that upset me most about my experience is they had a list of things the salesman wrote down to pass to the shop to have done before the walk through, not only was anything on that list done, there was an obvious smell of propane from one of the tank sides. The walk through guy suggested it was the regulator as it appears to be a thing he said with these. I wasn't planning on picking it up for a few more days after the walk through, so I asked them to add that to the list before I pick it up. Days later they said it was ready when I called, but before my delivery vehicle arrived, I brought in my propane leak detector and inspected for the list of things to be done, turned on the gas in the same tank space, smelled it and immediately found the leak with the detector while the salesman got the paperwork to say everything on the list was completed. He tells me they performed pressure leak test on the system and all was well, I said it is not, I found and can easily smell the leak. He brings out the guy who schedules the techs and this guy starts by telling me my leak detector is probably faulty (extremely insulting, I know what I'm doing and my detector has worked brilliantly for years ), I tell him my nose is not faulty either and he offers to bring out bubble soap, I said that would be great. He brings the soap along with a tech, but then performs the 8lb pressure test again (taking 10 minutes) while telling me that the "exhaust" feature of the regulator can sometimes emit a propane smell, I said that would be news to me ( while saying to myself that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard ), if you can smell propane, you have a leak that can ignite. So time goes by and the pressure test shows no loss and they seam to pat themselves on the back. I said great, now let's put the soap to it because that's what we're supposed to do. The second the tech applies the soap to the area I pinpointed, he starts hovering in my view and I asked him to move so I can see and bingo, bubbles a plenty. Such condensation about what I was saying as if I didn't know what I was talking about and then wasting more time with a second pressure test. Turns out the end of the hose for that tank that goes into the regulator did not have any propane tape on the threads and was a big leaker. The tech from then on was very cool if not humbled and properly fixed and cleaned up the soap mess, the tech scheduler disappeared. Of course I leak tested everywhere else I could and did not find anymore. Another moment of dismissive attitude was from the parts leader when I asked about the missing straps that were on the fridge when I first looked at RV, she commenced to tell me that some fridges don't come with them, but I had to reiterate that they were there, why would you now tell me they might not have them. After the failure to complete anything on the list, it just felt like people weren't listening, just using canned excuses, relying on apparently faulty testing and not the obvious sense of smell. So not getting things done when they were clearly listed, being treated like a no nothing buyer and having to kick some to get things done before leaving with it left a very bad taste in my mouth with this dealer. On the plus side, I did have them cut a dryer vent into the side of the RV and the shop did an excellent job at that, using proper parts inside and out while making sure it was leak proof! At least they listened well and performed that to expectation, even exceeded it due to the parts. Also the finance guy and the receptionist did a great job! After making more calls and trips than I should have to, the fixes that were supposed to be done, did get done except this 'shiny detail' they promised, it was the equivalent of a kid with a pressure washer and the salesman actually admitted to that. As far as these Google reviews, it says something to me that most 5 star reviews get comments from the dealer, poor reviews get crickets. So far I am happy with the RV.
