I had the windshield replaced on my 2002 Ford F-350 by Safelite and the experience was excellent. The technician was on time, very efficient, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about the job. The replacement was completed quickly and everything looks great. I highly recommend Safelite for anyone needing a windshield replacement. Great service from start to finish.

I started on my safelite journey when my drivers side window was damaged. I called in and set up an appointment in which they told me they would come to my place of work on the morning of the 23rd and would do the work for under what my insurance deductible was. A few minutes after I get off the phone I get the appointment email and the quote is 200 dollars higher than I was quoted on the phone. Naturally I called in to figure out what was going on. On the call they then told me that they couldn’t do the work remotely and made me reschedule for the 28th. After they researched the original call they did change the price I was to pay to the original quote. On the 28th I drove 45 minutes from my home to Winchester. I paid, they took my car and then like 10-15 minutes later told me they couldn’t do the work because the window they ordered was broken. They rescheduled me for the 7th. I needed my window fixed because I don’t want it falling out as I drive so I agreed. Today, at 5:03 I get a text telling me they do not have my window and do not know when they will get it but I could call and they could give me more details. I called, they closed at 5; yes 3 minutes before they sent me the text. So I called customer care. I asked to speak with a supervisor and after waiting a while someone got on the phone. She said “can you hear me?” And then hung up on me. So I called back. The next person I spoke with told me that I would wait until he was finished explaining the “steps” to me and then put me on hold. Then a “supervisor” got on the phone and put me on hold while she read the notes. She then came back on and explained to me what was going on by reading the text message to me like I was an idiot. After a a while of arguing back and forth just trying to figure out when I would get my window fixed and how many days they needed me to cancel plans and set aside for them to do literally the only work they do, I was told that someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. So where I stand now, they have charged my credit card and not returned the money. They have cancelled or failed to provide the service for three appointments. And I still have a a broken window. Thanks safelite.

Incomplete service job I even had to tape my remote engine wires on the windshield again and file a huge complaint with customer service. They made them give me free window wipers which is why I love the customer care team and can rely on them.

My technician was Chris… he was very professional and courteous .. since the weather was not very good, he kept me updated on his arrival time and he was able to get my window replaced. I also had interaction with a gentleman in the Safelite shop..(I didn’t get his name) but he was very nice… he was accommodating, professional and I felt like he appreciated me being a customer… all in all, these employees were great!!!
