Shortly after the oil change, my car began showing serious issues — and after having it inspected, I was told the engine was completely ruined due to Jiffy Lube’s negligence. It turns out they failed to properly reinstall the oil cap, causing the engine oil to leak out and ultimately destroying the engine. This happened right after I trusted them to do something as simple as an oil change. When I went back to the shop and explained what happened, they refused to take responsibility or offer any help to replace or repair the engine — even though it was clearly their mistake. I had just bought this car, and now I’m stuck with a massive repair bill because of their carelessness. Jiffy Lube’s lack of accountability and customer care is extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend anyone take their car here unless you want to risk losing your engine and getting blamed for their mistakes. Save yourself the stress — go somewhere that stands behind their work.
